PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED light emitting device which achieves high luminance, and to provide a manufacturing method of the LED light emitting device.SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes: an LED substrate 1 having a main surface 1a; an LED chip 2 mounted on the main surface 1a of the LED substrate 1; and a sealing resin 3 made of a material that transmits light from the LED chip 2 and covering the LED chip 2. The sealing resin 3 includes: a columnar part 31 contacting with the main surface 1a; and a dome-like part 32 which is formed on the columnar part 31 and expands in a direction that the main surface 1a faces.
