PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input apparatus, a character input method and a character input program that can contribute to greater convenience.SOLUTION: A character input apparatus comprises: a first acquiring unit; a determining unit; a first generating unit; and an output unit. The first acquiring unit accepts character inputs from a user and acquires an input character string. The determining unit infers from the input character string the user-intended word notations and connective relations among the word notations, and determines a route representing a connective relation highly likely to be the user-intended connective relation. The first generating unit extracts from the group of word notations included on the route the word notations to be outputted, and generates layout information for outputting the extracted word notations as notation candidates. The output unit outputs the layout information. |
