PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car position detecting device of an elevator capable of efficiently arranging a photo-detector and a shielding plate on hoistway plane dimensions when detecting the floor level range of a car of a plurality of different distances by using the photo-detector and the shielding plate.SOLUTION: A car position detecting device of an elevator includes a shielding plate 104, a photo-detector 103 and a logic circuit. Therein, the photo-detector includes a first detection part having an optical axis 203 and a second detection part having an optical axis 206; the shielding plate 104 forms a first shielding part 300 and a second shielding part 301; the first shielding part 300 has such a structure as to perform shielding in the specified distance range of a door-opening traveling protection device; the second shielding part 301 has such a structure as to perform shielding in the door-opening permission range and has such a structure as to provide an opening in the floor level deviation range for floor alignment correction operation control within the door-opening permission range; by using the logic circuit obtained by combining output signals from the first detection part and the second detection part, the floor level range of the car 102 of three different distances such as door zone of the elevator, floor level deviation and UCMP specified distance is detected through two axes of photo-detector output. |
