摘要 <p>1515387 Measuring air speed of a helicopter FRANCE ARMED FORCES MINISTER OF 11 Aug 1975 [22 Aug 1974] 33423/75 Heading G1N A measurement arrangement for measuring the air speed of a helicopter having at best one lifting rotor and a cyclic control system for controlling the pitch of the rotor via a joystick comprises a measuring means for monitoring the movement of the helicopter in the direction of its longitudinal axis and of an axis transverse thereto, the measuring means measuring the acceleration of the helicopter separately in the two directions and the position of the cyclic control with respect to the two directions. Means are provided associated with the measuring means for integrating the algebraic sum, for each direction, of the values of acceleration and position. As shown the measuring means, for each direction, comprises a potentiometer 12a, 12b for the position and a potentiometer 13a, 13b under the control of a pendulum 15a, 15b for the acceleration. The circuits including the potentiometers are zeroed by further potentiometers 41a, 41b, 42a, 42b and the above mentioned values are summed at 43a, 43b before being integrated in circuits 11a, 11b. A network 53a, 53b is provided for each "direction" measurement circuit to compensate for speed measurement signals coming from the respective other "direction" circuit. The speed indicator 7 comprises a pair of lines crossing at right angles Fig. 2 (not shown). The position indicators may be remote from the joystick Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), adjacent the joystick Fig. 6 (not shown) or the measuring means may be mounted on the joystick.</p>
