PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus which can be constituted of a small number of components.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes: an intermediate transfer belt 32; a stretch roll 34 for suppressing a meander; a photoreceptor 22Y around which the intermediate transfer belt 32 is wound, the photoreceptor 22Y being a member which the intermediate transfer belt 32 separated from the stretch roll 34 first contact; and a primary transfer roll 38Y. Since the contact of the intermediate transfer belt 32 with the photoreceptor 22Y is maintained even when the stretch roll 34 is moved, the primary transfer position of a toner image T is stable. Since it is unnecessary to separately provide a member to stabilize the movement of the intermediate transfer belt 32, the image forming apparatus 10 can be constituted of a small number of components. |
