PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorbing bag body capable of efficiently absorbing kinetic energy of a fallen object brought about by a rock fall, an earth slide, an avalanche and the like, and a guard fence using the impact absorbing bag body.SOLUTION: In an impact absorbing bag body 1, an impact absorbing material 2 made of a plate-like styrene foam is housed in a cloth bag 3. The impact absorbing bag body 1 absorbs kinetic energy of a collision object brought about by a rock fall and the like. The impact absorbing bag body 1 has sewn parts M1 and M2. Each of the sewn parts M1 and M2 is formed by bringing parts of an outside surface 3a of the cloth bag 3 into contact with each other in the state of making them overlap each other and sewing them with a sewing thread 4 in such a manner as to maintain a contact state of them. |
