PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set having good color development and being excellent in clog recoverability and discharge stability.SOLUTION: An ink set comprises at least cyan ink, magenta ink and yellow ink. Each ink comprised in the ink set contains water, a pigment of 5 mass% or more relative to the total amount of 100 mass% of the inks, glycerin, and a betaine compound having a molecular weight of less than 120. Between the inks, the content difference of the pigment is 3.0 mass% or more at a maximum and the content difference of the water is 3.0 mass% or less at a maximum. In the ink set, an ink having a maximum content of the pigment, an ink having a maximum content of the water component, and an ink having a maximum total content of the glycerin and the betaine compound are the same ink. |
