PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter control apparatus and control method therefor, capable of facilitating determination of recovery from some failure of an inverter, thereby executing driving for normalization.SOLUTION: The inverter control apparatus includes: an operation signal input section for detecting an electric current of each phase output from an inverter; an error detection section for detecting presence/absence of a failure of the inverter on the basis of the electric current detected from the operation signal input section; a control section for controlling driving of the inverter corresponding to a failure type of the inverter detected from the error detection section; and a storage section for storing a failure classification of the inverter and a failure type corresponding thereto on the basis of an electric current signal detected from the operation signal input section. |
