PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of slime in the concentration chamber of an electrodialyzer when a landfill leachate is subjected to desalination by electrodialysis.SOLUTION: In the method for treating a landfill leachate where a leachate including a salt from a landfill is treated by an electrodialyzer in which a cation-exchange membrane and an anion-exchange membrane are alternately arranged between a cathode and an anode to obtain desalinized water as well as to obtain a salt concentrate.
