摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent driving torque from becoming short of requested drive force in switching a travel mode, and improve responsiveness.SOLUTION: There is provided a control device of a hybrid vehicle that is equipped with: a power dividing mechanism having a carrier connected to an engine, a sun gear connected to a first motor generator, and a ring gear connected to a second motor generator; and a brake that fixes the carrier. The control device is capable of setting a travel mode to a first travel mode in which the brake is released to travel by the engine, a second travel mode in which the brake is engaged to travel by both motor generators 2,3, and a third travel mode in which the vehicle travels only by the second motor generator, and the control device is constituted to prohibit switching from the first travel mode to the second travel mode (step S5) and to switch from the third travel mode to the second travel mode after the engagement of the brake is completed (step S6).
