PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer and a color chart print method, which enable printing of a color chart convenient for a user while covering a color gamut of the printer.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer causes a print head to print dots on the basis of image data specified by including a combination of at least cyan, magenta, yellow and black. A color chart printed by the inkjet printer disposes a first color chart having highest brightness on one end of the color chart and a second color chart having lowest brightness on the other end in a diagonal direction of the first color chart. Further, the individual color charts are arranged so that densities of cyan, magenta and yellow on the respective color charts increase gradually from the first color chart-side to the second color chart-side in the diagonal direction, and in color charts whose brightness is equal to or less than a given threshold, densities of black increase in the aforementioned direction. |
