<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of sorting and storing a plurality of sheets with one storage part.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming part, carriage means, a storage part, an opening part and transfer means. Therein, the transfer means has pressing parts 241a, 241b which press the rear edge of a sheet and can be transferred between a first position and a second position closer to the opening part than the first position. The first sheet carried when the transfer means is located at the first position is stored in such a state that the rear edge is located at a position closer to the opening part than the pressing parts; the transfer means transfers the first sheet toward the opening part when the transfer means is transferred from the first position to the second position and the second sheet carried when the transfer means is located at the second position is stored in such a state that the rear edge is located at a position farther from the opening part than the pressing parts.</p> |
