PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method capable of suppressing striped irregularities which may be generated when applying molding processing thereto after image formation.SOLUTION: An image forming method for forming an image before molding processing to a recording medium 21 to be subjected to the molding processing includes steps for: discharging droplets for image formation from a print head toward the recording medium 21; and discharging auxiliary droplets for reducing generation of striped irregularities after molding processing from the print head toward the recording medium 21.
