The present invention relates to a method of changing through minor channels of a digital television when a null signal is received, comprising: determining whether a null signal is received from the minor channel; when a broadcast signal from the minor channel is a null signal, analyzing channel information of a major channel, to which the minor channel belongs, to acquire minor channel information belonging to the major channel; when the minor channel information is acquired, analyzing the minor channel information to select a minor channel except for the minor channel of the null signal belonging to the major channel; and repeating determining whether selected channels transmit valid signals and changing to the a minor channel of the valid signal, when the minor channel exists. According to the present invention as configured above, when the minor channel transmits a null signal, other minor channels of the major channel, to which the minor channel of the null signal belongs, are automatically selected, thereby enabling a user to watch the digital television conveniently without manually changing through minor channels. |
