PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide drying equipment capable of efficiently drying a large amount of water-containing substances by promoting fluidization of the water-containing substance in a whole drying chamber.SOLUTION: The drying equipment includes: a drying chamber 13 for drying a water-containing substance 6; water-containing substance supplying means 11, 14, and 15 for supplying the water-containing substance from one end part of the drying chamber; discharging means 19 for discharging the dried water-containing substance from the other end part of the drying chamber; exhausting means 17 for exhausting steam 26 generated from the water-containing substance by heating; heating means 34 provided in the drying chamber; and fluid medium supplying means 24,28, and 29 ejecting a fluid medium 23 to the drying chamber to liquefy the water-containing substance. The fluid medium supplying means uses a part of the fluid medium as an auxiliary fluid medium to form a liquid layer along a wall surface in the drying chamber. |
