PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a noise peak value at a transition time of each drive voltage (VOUT) without using a large-scale logic circuit in a display drive device having a signal electrode drive circuit 5 for outputting the drive voltage corresponding to display data to a signal electrode of a display panel.SOLUTION: A gradation voltage (VIN) corresponding to display data is input to the signal electrode drive circuit 5. The signal electrode drive circuit 5 comprises: a voltage output circuit 6 for outputting a drive voltage (VOUT) corresponding to the input gradation voltage; and a slew rate assist circuit 7 for accelerating the transition of an output voltage by the voltage output circuit. The slew rate assist circuit 7 starts accelerating the transition of the output voltage after waiting for a predetermined period from the transition start of the gradation voltage.
