Coupling for steel flanging is for the cammed flanging in formwork elements used in concreting. A connecting profile, insertable in the interfacing-ended flanges of adjacent form elements, is fixable by clamps acting crossways on the connecting profile. At least on the side brought into contact with the steel flanges (14, 16), the connecting profile (24) is serrated, with the teeth (42) acting in conjunction with a matching counter serration (30) on the steel flanges, to effect form-locking engagement. The connecting profile can consist of two flat steel bars (36), 38) with connecting cross arms holding them at an interval apart.
