Universal prefabricated building components rigid connection - uses mortar between hollow profile and set-bolt preventing transverse expansion

The bend-resistant joint for prefabricated building components (1) (4) involves hollow profile units (2) and set-bolts (8) to working in conjunction with a hard-setting mortar with transverse expansion prevented on all sides. Reinforcing steel rods (3) are fixed to one component's hollow profiles, and set bolts are form-locked, via steel plates (5), to the reinforcing rods of the other. The mortar transfers forces in any desired direction between profile and bolt, by contact pressure and adhesion stresses on the walling. Rigidity characteristics can be developed so that the mortar meets all requirements made on it, and the connection withstands displacement and twisting tendencies in any direction.
