<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video apparatus that is able to speedily and accurately update data used in a plurality of video apparatuses connected to a network environment.SOLUTION: A television receiver 1 as a video apparatus comprises: a communication part 6 that transmits and receives data used in the television receiver 1; a storage part 5 that stores data; and a control part 4 that is able to update data in the storage part 5. When the version of data received from a broadcasting station 200 via the communication part 6 is new in relation to data stored in the storage part 5, the control section 4 updates the data in the storage part 5. When the version of data received from the broadcasting station 200 is the same or older, the control part 4 does not update the data in the storage part 5. Instead, it transmits, via the communication part 6, the received data to other video apparatuses 111, 112 connected to a network 110 where a plurality of video apparatuses including its own video apparatus are present.</p> |
