PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To beautifully superposably fold a sheet, by easily and uniformly aligning the edge and the corner of the sheet without a folding-up mechanism.SOLUTION: A ruler is formed by providing a line-drawing straight line part 3 on one side in the longitudinal direction of a plate body 2 composed of a long size plate, and a bottom surface of the plate body is provided with a bottom groove 5 extending in a straight line shape in parallel to the straight line part, and is provided with a groove side surface on the distant side from the straight line part among left-right groove side surfaces of the bottom groove, that is, a stopper surface 6 substantially vertically rising from the bottom surface of the plate body and a holder surface 4 forming the bottom surface on the near side from the straight line part by sandwiching the bottom groove among the bottom surface of the plate body. When the sheet is inserted between a platform surface of a working platform and the bottom surface of the plate body in a state of placing the plate body on the working platform, the sheet can slidably move between this platform surface and the holder surface, and in addition, when the sheet slidably moves toward the bottom groove from the straight line part side, the tip of the sheet stops by butting against the stopper surface in a space of the bottom groove.
