PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite capable of being fired under a reducing atmosphere and having improved insulation resistance, and an inductor including the ferrite.SOLUTION: An inductor includes: a multilayer body 110 in which a plurality of magnetic body layers containing a ferrite are laminated; a coil part 120 disposed at the inside of the multilayer body and including a plurality of conductor patterns; and an external electrode 130 electrically connected to the coil part. The ferrite contains iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn), and vanadium (V). The ferrite contains 40-55 mol% of the iron (Fe) calculated as iron oxide (FeO), 5-20 mol% of the nickel (Ni) calculated as nickel oxide (NiO), 15-25 mol% of the zinc (Zn) calculated as zinc oxide (ZnO), 15-30 mol% of the manganese (Mn) calculated as manganese oxide (MnO), and 1-4 mol% of the vanadium (V) calculated as vanadium oxide (VO). |
