PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display cell, capable of extremely stably manufacturing a liquid crystal display cell without generating insertion of a liquid crystal to a liquid crystal sealant, reducing even a production tact and achieving further improvement in mass productivity.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display cell constituted of two substrates comprises: dropping a liquid crystal inside a dam formed of a liquid crystal sealant and formed on one substrate; bonding the other substrate therewith; and curing the liquid crystal sealant with an ultraviolet ray and/or heat. The liquid crystal sealant includes (a) an organic filler. When an average particle size of (a) the organic filler is set to A (μm), and a cell gap of the liquid crystal display cell is set to B (μm), a following expression (I) is satisfied. 1.2≤A/B≤4.0 (I) |
