PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of miniaturizing a motor for direct drive on condition that a direct drive system is adopted for achieving acceleration of the number of rotation of a rotation stand.SOLUTION: A CT apparatus 1 includes an X-ray tube 16, an X-ray detection device 17 which is arranged so as to face the X-ray tube 16, a rotation stand 7 which holds the X-ray tube 16 and the X-ray detection device 17, a support base 6 which supports the rotation stand 7 in a rotatable manner, a main motor 10 which has a motor rotor 18 fixed on the rotation stand 7 and a motor stator 11 fixed on the support base 6, an auxiliary motor 14 which is connected to the rotation stand 7 via a V-belt 28, and a control part 53 which controls the main motor 10 and the auxiliary motor 14 so as to control the rotation of the rotation stand 7 by using the auxiliary motor 14 at the time of rotation start or rotation stop of the rotation stand 7, and control the rotation of the rotation stand 7 by using the main motor 10 at the time of rated rotation of the rotation stand 7. |
