本发明公开一种在浏览器中实现搜索的方法、装置及终端。该方法包括：基于浏览器当前搜寻引擎中输入的关键字搜索资料，并显示当前搜寻引擎的搜索结果页面；当检测到在搜索结果页面中的操作事件满足预置的切换规则时，显示备选搜寻引擎；在选择备选搜寻引擎后，提取备选搜寻引擎的搜索位址范本，将在当前搜寻引擎中的关键字载入到搜索位址范本中搜索资料，并显示备选搜寻引擎的搜索结果页面。采用本发明，方便在不同搜寻引擎之间切换以进行对相同关键字的资料搜索，满足了用户的自动化、智慧化需求，节约用户时间，提高搜索切换效率。; displaying candidate search engines when an operating incident occurring in the search engine results pages triggers a predefined switch criteria; retrieving search address texts of a selected search engine which is selected from the candidate search engines, and loading the keyword typed in the current search engine to the search address texts for searching for information; displaying another search engine results pages searched by the selected search engine.
