By sending emergency messages to the mobile communication devices within an emergency area which are played back aloud, detailed emergency information providing information about the type of emergency and the action to be taken can be provided to a specific part of the population in the region affected by the emergency situation.
Mentioned advantage is that the customised ringtone that is received by a person within the area in which the emergency message is to be broadcast can be heard by others standing in the vicinity of the mobile telephone, PDA, etc. receiving the alert message.</p> |
