Acoustic orientation system for vehicle occupants - uses missile-shaped microphones on roof with pointed ends in direction of travel and coupled to amplifier of stereo loudspeakers

A microphone is fixed to each front corner or the vehicle roof. The microphones are preferably missile shaped and point in the direction of travel. The sound picked up is amplified and fed to two stereo load speakers arranged in the vehicle interior. The result can be improved by the addition of two extra microphones mounted on the rear roof corners and pointing to the rear. For use with vehicles having poor sound insulation (motor cycles) head phones are used in place of load speakers.
