The case has a flat bottom with or without a screw. A cylindrical outer wall and a closely fitting cover in which a controlled or non-controlled rectifier (thyristor) chip is mounted between the flat bottom and a contacting it cylindrical punch-like terminal. The thyristor control electrode is also contacted by a pressure contact. The above terminal and a control wire are connected to a metal sleeve each, passing through the cover. The case outer wall (13) is coaxially mounted on the flat bottom (11) and is joined to it. It is made of a cylindrical steel tube provided with stiffening corrugation (131). Its free edge has a welding edge (132). The insulating cover (2) has a metal flange hard soldered to it by which it is resistance welded to the edge on the side wall.
