Disclosed is a filling nozzle for dispensing urea solution into a tank of a motor vehicle. The filling nozzle comprises a safety device and drip prevention valve (14) to reduce the likelihood of spillage or dripping of urea solution during filling. The filling nozzle comprises an actuating lever and the safety device. The actuating lever actuates a valve device. The safety device is arranged downstream of the valve device. The safety device can be moved from a blocking position to an enabling position. When the safety device is in the blocking position the valve device is closed regardless of the position of the actuating lever. When the safety device is in the enabling position the valve device can be opened using the actuating lever. The operative connection between the safety device and the valve device is realised mechanically and/or pneumatically. The filling nozzle further comprises the drip prevention valve (14) in the region of the outlet end. The drip prevention valve (14) can be opened by the liquid pressure in the outlet counter to a closing force. The closing force can be varied by the safety device and is greater in the blocking position of the safety device than in the enabling position.
