A digital holographic image display device according to the present invention can display a high quality three-dimensional image by improving resolution, viewing angle and diffraction efficiency of a spatial light modulator without reducing the intensity of the total light passing the spatial light modulator. A digital holographic image display device using a phase shift mask according to the present invention includes: a light source; a spatial light modulator which has a number of pixels arranged in a grid, and modulates intensity of a light from the light source spatially according to each pixel and then outputs the modulated light; and a phase shift mask which is comprised on the spatial light modulator, and shifts the phase of a transmitted light and outputs the light thereof. |
