AUTOMATIC PRECISION SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A DIFFERENTIATED WEED-KILLING IN AGRICULTURAL CROPS

The invention relates to a precision automatic system for weed discriminating, classifying and providing a differentiated weed-killing meant for controlling weeds in agricultural crops with the optimization of the amount of applied herbicides. According to the invention, the automatic system comprises the following : a. a self-propelled chassis (A) formed of a welded frame (1) made up of rectangular pipes on which there is mounted a transversely disposed heat engine (2), a gearbox (5), a two-stage reduction gear (6), a drive axle (7), a steering axle (8), an operators' bench (9) and the supports (10, 11 and 12) for the systems (B, C and D), b. a discriminating and classifying system (B) consisting of a video camera (14) for image acquisition, a central unit (15) with technical and functional characteristics which allow the use of a display (16) on the vehicle, a keyboard (17) and an external hard-disk (18), c. a georeferencing and guiding system (C) which uses the elements (15, 16 and 17) of the system (B) to which a GPS antenna (19) is coupled, a receiver (20) for RTK corrections and a GSM modem (21), d. a precision weed-killing system (D) consisting of two tanks (22 and 23) for anti-monocotyledon and anti-dicotyledon herbicides, two controllers (24 and 25), electric valves (26), two booms (27 and 28) for applying the herbicides, a suitable number of nozzles (29) which have a footprint of tens of square centimeters, two manometers (30), two pressure regulators (31) for pressure coarse adjustment, two regulators (32) for pressure fine adjustment, a speed sensor (33), two pressure sensors (34), two pumps (35), two filters (36), hose-type connection elements (37) and electric cable connection elements (38), a vehicle storage battery (39), the entire system being controlled by the elements (15, 16 and 17) of the discriminating and classifying system (B).
