摘要 The present invention relates to a nonwoven fabric for an air filter supporting body having good air permeability and improved fluff and peel strength, and a manufacturing method thereof. The nonwoven fabric for an air filter supporting body according to the present invention is characterized by being formed as a long-fiber spunbond nonwoven fabric with a single-layered or multi-layered structure by means of a combined bonding method of calendar bonding, emboss bonding, and hot air bonding after a first component polyethylene terephthalate (PET) having the intrinsic viscosity of 0.6 to 0.8 and the melting point of 230 to 280°C, and a second component PET having the same intrinsic viscosity range as the first PET and the melting point of 200 to 250°C are spun in the shape of a sheath/core fiber to thereby form a web. The air filter supporting body having good air permeability and improved fluff and peel strength, and a manufacturing method thereof according to the present invention, which are configured as described above, provide a method capable of more economically manufacturing a nonwoven fabric, which has maximally maintained air permeability and minimized fluff and peeling which may be problematic in post-processing, because a PET with a high melting point is used as a primary material, another PET with a low meting point is added and mixed to the primary material, a web is then formed by spinning the PETs into a high-fineness filament, and thereafter a continuous combined bonding method under the most optimal condition is employed, instead of a conventional single bonding method using only a calendar, an emboss, or hot air.
