In a line head where a plurality of inkjets are arranged, a time-dependent inkjet head misalignment results in the deterioration of a precise printing. A plurality of uneven portions parallel to a printing scanning direction are formed on a bonding surface between an inkjet head and a head plate to arrange the inkjet head such that a time-dependent misalignment after positioning is guided in the printing scanning direction. Then, misalignment in a direction orthogonal to the printing scanning direction can be suppressed. The application of this means allows the realization of an inkjet printing apparatus capable of maintaining a high level of printing precision.
