PREPARATION FOR CLEARANCE OF MYCOTOXINS BASED ON BIOMASS OF FILAMENTOUS FUNGI AND USE THEREOF

A preparation is proposed for clearance of mycotoxins contaminating food, feed and causing infections of plants by microbial parasites and methods of the use thereof. The preparation provides binding mycotoxins by a novel adsorbent consisting partially or completely of a biomass of filamentous fungi or separate components thereof; prior to the use said materials can be additionally treated by acid, alkali or enzymic hydrolysis. The preparation is applied in dry or ground state in an amount of 0.02 to 0.5% from a ration. The preparation being in the form of powder, paste or suspension can be used for clearance of mycotoxins by their adsorption in case of invasion of plants by parasitic fungi and for preventing such invasion. Thus the resulted preparation (sorbent) is able to bind a wide range of mycotoxins, including hard-to-bind mycotoxins (ochratoxin, T-2, vomitoxin, nivalenol). A novel sorbent can be used as a feed additive, a functional additive to food and as an agricultural fungistatic/fungicide.
