The method of receiving a signal in a communications system using a low-density parity check code (LDPC) according to the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a signal from a signal transmission apparatus; and performing an LDPC decoding operation corresponding to a preset first parity check matrix on the received signal, wherein the first parity check matrix is generated by using a second parity check matrix including sub-matrixes of M×N, the first parity check matrix is a parity check matrix that represents non-zero matrixes among the sub-matrixes of M×N included in the second parity check matrix in an n_c form, n represent the number of block rows included in the second parity check matrixes, c represents the number of non-zero matrixes included in the n-th block row included in the second parity check matrix, the first parity check matrix is divided into the preset number partial matrixes, and each of the partial matrixes includes only the preset number of non-zero sub-matrixes based on the block rows of the second parity check matrix. |
