Synthesis and novel salt forms of (r)-5-((e)-2-(pyrrolidin-3-ylvinyl)pyrimidine

The present disclosure relates to the stereospecific synthesis of (R)-5-((E)-2-pyrrolidin-3-ylvinyl)pyrimidine. Also disclosed are Diethyl (R)-2-(1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyrrolidin-3-yl)malonate, (R)-2-(1-(tert-Butoxycarbonyl) pyrrolidin-3-yl)malonic acid, tert-Butyl (R)-3-(2-hydroxyethyl)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate, and tert-Butyl (R)-3-(2-iodoethyl)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate and a method for the synthesis of (R)-5-((E)-2-pyrrolidin-3-ylvinyl)pyrimidine ehre these compoundsare used as intermediates.
