The invention relates to separators for high currents, within the medium and low voltage range, which carry out the load current breaking. According to the invention, the separator comprises a movable metal contact element (1) of rod-type construction, which ensures the contact between two fixed metal contact elements (4, 5), having placed at each end a composite insulating element (2, 3) with the same diameter with the metal rod (1) having the role of a piston in a cylinder, two supporting elements (6, 7), having the role of ensuring the mechanical support for the fixed metal elements (4, 5) and a one-way valve (8) which allows the air to escape from the inside of the fixed contact element (4) and prevents the air to enter into the inside of fixed contact element (4). |
