MULTI-LAYERED CERAMIC CAPACITOR AND BOARD FOR MOUNTING THE SAME

The present invention provides a multi-layered ceramic capacitor to decrease the failure rate of mounted boards by improving the assembly performance of a multi-layered ceramic capacitor while reducing an acoustic noise by decreasing the vibration of the multi-layered ceramic capacitor when mounting the capacitor, by including: a ceramic body which stacks up a plurality of dielectric layers of which average thickness is from 0.2 to 2.0μm; an active layer which forms a capacitance by including first and second internal electrodes which are alternatedly exposed through both cross sections of the ceramic body while having the dielectric layers in between; an upper cover layer which is formed on the top of the active layer; a lower cover layer which is formed on the bottom of the active layer and has a thickness greater than the upper cover layer; and first and second external electrodes which are formed to cover the cross sections of the ceramic body. At least one corner of the length, width and thickness of the ceramic body is formed in a round shape wherein the equation 0.1 <= R/tc <= 0.7 is satisfied where the curvature of radius of the corner is R and the thickness of the upper cover layer is tc.
