The present invention relates to a porous biofilm microorganism carrier and a manufacturing method thereof, which can reduce cracking during forming a carrier, can form pores on the surface of the carrier at a low cost while lowering the specific gravity by adding pulp sludge, and can lower the specific gravity of the manufactured carrier. The manufacturing method of a porous ceramic carrier of the present invention comprises a mixing step (S1) of preparing red clay and clay, pulverizing separately, removing foreign substances, mixing at a ratio of 6:4, and mixing 60-70% of a mixture of red clay and clay, 5-25% of pulp sludge using waste, 5-15% of molasses, 15-20% of zeolite and 2-3% of a binder to 100 weight; a molding step (S2) of obtaining a molded product in a desired shape with the mixed materials completed the mixing step; a drying step (S3) of drying the molded product completed the molding step at a range of 200-750°C for 20-50 minutes; and a plasticizing step (S4) of firing the dried product completed the drying step at a range of 750-1250°C for 5-20 minutes. The manufacturing method of a porous ceramic carrier further comprises a deposition step (S5) of depositing microorganisms in the plasticized product in order to improve the function of the carrier after manufacturing the porous ceramic carrier; and a coating step (S6) of coating the plasticized product having completed the deposition step. |
