<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data recovery circuit and method that can surely detect an isolation pulse and execute data determination. <P>SOLUTION: A data recovery circuit comprises: a phase detector for calculating a first data unavailable point position through interpolation by using two sequent digital data of a digital data string, and calculating a second data unavailable point position through extrapolation; a data determining unit for extracting a data determination value array from the digital data array on the basis of the average position and instantaneous positions of the first data unavailable points; and a data selection unit for replacing a data determination value corresponding to a section on a time axis sandwiched between two sequent digital data in the data determination value array by a data value assumed based on extrapolation when two second data unavailable points determined from an extrapolation line of two just-before sequent digital data and an extrapolation line of two just-after sequent digital data are located within the section and the signs of the gradients of the two extrapolation lines are different from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
