摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain deterioration of a battery.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a negative electrode material for a lithium secondary battery used for a negative electrode of a lithium secondary battery, a lithium-containing transition metal oxide having a three-dimensional framework structure having a tunnel for inserting and desorbing lithium ions in a nonaqueous electrolyte is mixed with carbon, so as to desorb the lithium ions in crystals of the lithium-containing transition metal oxide. Then, a negative electrode material for a lithium secondary battery is synthesized using the lithium-containing transition metal oxide, from which the lithium ions are desorbed, a conductive substance, and a binder.
