PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve and a method of manufacturing the solenoid valve allowing a cylinder to be easily worked while securing the strength, without enlarging the size.SOLUTION: The solenoid valve 1 includes a coil 71 that is provided around the outer periphery of a cylindrical part 22 of a cylinder 21 constituting a valve chamber 23, and a solenoid part 26 that attaches/separates a valve body 52 to/from a valve seat 51 by moving the plunger 72 provided within the cylinder 21 by energizing the coil 71. While the coil 71 is given a specified tension by a terminal 94, a stress resisting high-pressure gas led into the valve chamber 23 is applied to the cylinder 21 beforehand. |
