<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall support structure for a building provided with a wall body which has a height not corresponding to the distance between stories and is disposed lateral to a column, which can reduce breakage or damage of the column due to a horizontal load from the wall body during earthquake as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A wall body 40 is connected adjacent to a beam junction 21 of a colum through a wall/column connection structure 50 of the column, so that a horizontal load from the wall body 40 occurring during earthquake or the like is applied adjacent to the beam junction 21 of the column, not at least a midway part of the column. Since beams 30A and 30B are joined at the beam junction 21, the beam junction 21 and the vicinity thereof has extremely high rigidity compared to the midway part of the column. Consequently the column subject to the horizontal load from the wall body 40 is free from deformation, so that the load is smoothly transmitted to the beams or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
