<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network camera system that is capable of synchronizing time among multiple pieces of image information photographed by multiple camera devices connected to a network without affecting network transmission, and an image information time synchronization method used for the network camera system. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a network camera system comprises an illuminating device, and multiple cameras connected with each other through a network. The illuminating device obtains reference time information and codes the information to perform illumination light communication, and transmits the coded information to a monitoring target area by illumination light periodically. The multiple camera devices each photograph the monitoring target area by taking in reflection light reflected by a subject of illumination light emitted by the illuminating device, extract the reference time information analyzing image information obtained by photographing, and record the image information by associating the reference time information with a position corresponding to the extracted reference time information of the image information obtained by photographing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
