摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a subminiature power factor correction system and a method of controlling the same. To this end, a subminiature power factor correction system according to the present invention includes: an electric wave rectifying unit (10) connected to a power input part (live, neutral terminal) and a power output part (load-live, load-neutral terminal) and using an electric wave rectifier circuit for the purpose of a passive power factor correction control; a voltage-driven current control device (20) connected to the electric wave rectifying unit (10) to control a current according to a voltage waveform; and an adder circuit (30) connected to the voltage-driven current control device (20) to perform voltage dividing and to receive a voltage-reduced signal, so that the input voltage waveform is voltage-divided to control the current in the same phase as that of the voltage waveform. According to the prevent invention, the input voltage waveform is voltage-divided by using the voltage-driven current control device such that the current in the same phase as that of the voltage waveform is controlled. Thus, the quality and reliability of a product is greatly improved to meet needs of a consumer as a user, thereby giving good image to the user.</p>
