<p>The present invention relates to a rectangular vertical linear actuator which is mounted on a portable communication device such as a portable phone and informs an incoming call with noiseless vibrations. The rectangular vertical linear actuator comprises; a lower bracket and an upper case which form a rectangular appearance and form a space inside thereof when the lower bracket and the upper case are faced and combined; a vibrator which is installed in the space formed when the lower bracket and the upper case are combined, and reciprocates linearly in a vertical direction in the space; a magnetic force generating unit including a hollowed coil fixated on the upper side of the lower bracket and a circuit substrate which supplies power to the hollowed coil; and an elastic member which combines the vibrator to the lower side of the upper case and provides elastic restoring force to the vibrator which reciprocates linearly. The vibrator comprises; a plate shaped yoke; a bar type permanent magnet installed on the lower side of the yoke; and a plate installed on the lower side of the permanent magnet. The elastic member is formed of a rectangular plate spring. A combination unit combined to the lower side of both short ends of the upper case is formed on both short ends of the elastic member. A fixing unit combined to one among the upper side, the side, or the lower side of the yoke is formed on the center of the elastic member. An elastic unit which is formed in a string shape by forming one or more penetration units between the combination unit and fixing unit.</p> |
