PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming catalyst for tar-containing gas which converts crude gas which is generated during thermally decomposing carbonaceous raw materials such as coal and biomass, and contains tar composed of heavy chain carbon hydride or fused polycyclic aromatic carbon hydride, and also, contains a high concentration of hydrogen sulfide, or the tar-containing gas e.g. refined gas, to light chemical substances e.g. carbon monoxide and hydrogen under high performance process and stably, in the presence of a catalyst, as well as a method for manufacturing the reforming catalyst and a method for reforming the tar-containing gas.SOLUTION: This reforming catalyst for tar-containing gas is a composite oxide represented by ANiBO. Here, A is a metallic element selected from at least one kind of the group consisting of La, Ce, Ca, Sr and Ba; B is a metallic element selected from one kind of the group consisting of Co, Fe, Ti, Zr, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, Re and W; x meets 0.1≤x≤1; and the unit lattice of the composite oxide is of a perovskite structure. |
