<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a storage amount without giving discomfort to a driver. <P>SOLUTION: A battery is mounted on an electric vehicle, and the battery is charged by an external charger. The electric vehicle calculates a state of charge SOC of the battery, and displays the state of charge SOC on an instrument panel. Moreover, the state of charge SOC, which is sent from the electric vehicle, is also displayed on a display panel of the charger. The electric vehicle memorizes the state of charge SOC at a charging end as a storage amountαat the charging end. At subsequent start of the vehicle, the storage amountαat the charging end is called to be displayed on the instrument panel (signβ2), irrespective of a calculated state of charge SOC (sign Xa). In this manner, the state of charge SOC, which is displayed on the display panel of the charger at the charging end, can be matched with the state of charge SOC, which is to be displayed on the instrument panel of the electric vehicle at the subsequent start of the vehicle, so that it can provide a sense of security to the driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
