<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal head system with trace function which reduces data amount by changing storage intervals of control data between the universal head and a lens according to focal distance, and has improved reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: An universal head system comprises: an imaging device which includes a camera device and a lens device enabling zoom and focus operation; and a universal head on which the imaging device is fixed and enables pan and tilt. The universal head has storage means for storing command values of pan, tilt, zoom, and focus; and control means including a lens control part controlling zoom and focus, a universal head control part controlling pan and tilt of the universal head, and a sampling control part setting storage intervals of the storage means. The control means can at the stored sampling intervals reproduce the command values of pan, tilt, zoom, and focus stored in the storage means; and can drive the lens device and the universal head, where the sampling interval of at least one of the command values of pan, tilt, zoom, and focus is shorter at telephoto end than at wide-angle end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
