The flexible glass sheet for use in cars has a base of tempered glass. The greater part of the glass periphery is held in a housing. The housing has a bending element, working with the glass and bending it on the opening side. The window forms part of the roof and the bending is done upwards to open the glass roof panel. The bending element is fixed to the glass, centrally relative to its edge. There is a sealing joint across the opening in the body in contact with the glass (unbent).
