Protective cover for switch rear surfaces - is of flexible plastics suitable for variable pressure environments and has corrugation of all four sides

The protective cover is for the rear surfaces of a panel with switches mounted, esp. those used in variable pressure conditions such as tractors. The cover consists of an envelope of a supple plastic such as PVC. The overall form is approx. rectangular in plan and elevation with a single corrugation (14) around all four sides. The envelope is open at one narrow face and has an outward pointing foot or skirt (15) which forms a seal with the rear surface of the switch panel. The switch (1) is held in the panel (4) opening by the combination of a rim (5) fitting against the front of the panel and a pair of sprung arms (8) at its sides holding the switch in position, the envelope covering the complete assembly.
